Don't you hate it when you feel like being yourself is not good enough for some people? Like they're always mad about something you said or did? Or you're trying really hard to not offend them, while being yourself, but it all goes wrong. There was a time when I had to make decisions, I would think about how it would affect other people's lives, what my friends would say, what my family would think. With big decisions, it's great to take those into consideration and get advice...but I'm talking about the little things that should only matter to me. I was always worried that they would be upset or they wouldn't talk to me anymore. But, as I've gotten older...I've just stopped caring. I hear friends and family out, but ultimately it's my life, and it's my decision to make. I'm not gonna sit there worrying about whether it was what they would've done or if it was the choice they would've made, because it's not up to them. So, to anyone else who feels this way...you are good enough, and it's okay to speak your mind. I went too long without voicing my opinion, and being who I really wanted to be. Don't make the same mistake I did.

A Quote That Rings So True
“It happens to everyone as they grow up. You find out who you are and what you want, and then you realize that people you’ve known forever don’t see things the way you do. So you keep the wonderful memories, but find yourself moving on.” ~Nicholas Sparks~
I saw this quote somewhere online yesterday, and it hit me instantly! This is exactly how I've been feeling with people. It's not that either person has done anything wrong, it's just that we're all victims of growing up. We find that we aren't the same people in high school, and that we've switched tracks from what our friends used to think. That's okay. It gives us a chance to move on from who we used to be, find a new crowd. There's a time and a season for everyone in our lives, some just stick around longer than others. Eventually, the people that are meant to be in your lives will be there, and it won't be so hard to keep them there. It may be a long road, but it'll be worth it!

Life Is Short
Time and time again, I'm reminded how short life is. You'd think that would be an eye opener for me, to wake up and to live my life with no regrets, to get over past mistakes, and to let go of things that have happened to me. Lately, life and God have been showing me the beauty in life and in the small things. So many times I'm impatient, wanting things to go a certain way; MY way, rather than just being flexible and stopping to see the simplicity of life. I'm always in such a hurry and for what?
Recently, I've been hearing all these stories of people getting cancer or getting into car accidents, and it puts it into perspective that that could have been me or my family that it happened to. Things like that could happen to anyone, and it could happen to me too. That's why it's so important to live with a purpose, and live each day as if it were your last, because someday it's going to be.
Here's to making it count and taking each step one at a time! What's the rush? ;)

Great Moments/People In My Life I Won't Soon Forget
"Most of our lives are a series of images, they pass us by like towns on a highway. But sometimes a moment stuns us as it happens and we know that this instant is more than a fleeting image. We know that this moment, every part of it, will live on forever."
"You know its been said that we just don't recognize the significant moments in our lives while they're happening; we grow complacent with ideas or things or people, and we take them for granted."
I Wish I Was Here...
I thought I'd start a post called, "I Wish I Was Here..." to post pictures of places I wish I was. Pretty self explanatory right? Well, I thought it would be fun for those days when I just want to escape reality or wish I was somewhere else. The first one on my mind is Disneyland. Not only is it the happiest place on earth, this weekend they're filming the Christmas parade. Apparently 1iota was giving out free tickets to the park to watch the filming of the parade for tomorrow and Sunday, and I totally missed out on it :/ Bummed! But, either way, I wish that's where I was spending my Saturday LOL.

Chelsea Kane Inspired
So, I wanted to see what a beanie would look like with my new 'do', when my mom said it looked like Chelsea Kane's style! Lol. That's when I decided to look up her website, since I hadn't been on it in awhile, and decided to look up some pics of her.
Found some really cute rainy weather inspired outfits, which was fitting for today! Hopefully I can look that chic as the weather gets colder ;) haha.
